We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer – DevOps (SRE) to join our dynamic team, helping us revolutionize how organizations design and implement DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and site reliability engineering (SRE) solutions.
Position Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer – DevOps (SRE), you will play a critical role in the Digital Operations Division, focusing on enhancing system reliability, observability, scalability, and cloud-native implementations. You’ll collaborate with Agile teams to develop robust DevOps pipelines and reliability engineering practices, enabling Tanco Tech to deliver high-performance solutions to our clients.
This role involves leveraging modern technologies and best practices in cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration to meet evolving business needs and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Work with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack DevOps solutions.
- Cloud-Native Expertise: Design scalable, cloud-based systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Automation: Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and improve efficiency.
- Reliability Engineering: Implement and advocate for SRE best practices, focusing on system reliability, observability, and performance tuning.
- Container Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to manage and scale applications in containerized environments.
- Technical Leadership: Stay up to date with the latest tech trends, mentor team members, and participate in internal and external technical communities.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to ensure high availability and stability of production environments.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in DevOps Engineering and 2 years with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux system administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Container Orchestration: 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Programming & Scripting: 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Java, Bash, or Go.
- SRE Practices: 2+ years of experience implementing site reliability engineering practices.
- Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities.
