Job Brief
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with internal departments and senior management to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data. Your insights will directly inform strategies to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and deliver greater value to our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in analytics, data interpretation, or strategy development, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Utilize data findings to develop and refine strategies that reduce costs, enhance efficiency, improve processes, and strengthen quality, security, and consistency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather data, identify challenges, and implement innovative solutions.
- Validate and integrate new data sources while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Create detailed reports and compelling presentations to summarize findings and support executive decision-making.
- Partner with management to set project objectives, budgets, and timelines, monitor progress, and evaluate performance outcomes.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to secure data during collection, analysis, storage, and disposal.
- Continuously review and enhance analytics tools, methods, and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and security.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s Degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in analytics, data interpretation, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other relevant software.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Experience with project management and stakeholder collaboration is a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business strategy development.
