Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Director Level) to join our elite team and lead the development of large-scale, highly distributed systems. You will design, implement, and re-architect complex platforms and applications that meet the demands of our clients across industries. With a strong focus on delivering results, this role requires a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions and leading technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of globally scalable distributed systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Architecture Design: Drive the creation of innovative solutions by applying core database concepts, transactional systems, and distributed technologies.
- Project Ownership: Independently manage and deliver complex projects, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to align goals and priorities.
- Code Development: Utilize expertise in C++, Python, and related technologies to develop and optimize software applications.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing technical team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software development, including significant contributions to large-scale distributed systems or database projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Expertise in database design concepts (transactionality, journaling, B-tree implementation).
- Familiarity with distributed database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, CouchDB, Hadoop, Apache Hive).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement efficient solutions.

- Networking and security (RBAC).
- Linux kernel internals and optimization.
- Object and structured data serialization (ProtoBuf, Pickle).
